What We Do - For Women

Do we, as women, know who we are? Where we want to go? How we will get there?

Recent research suggests that women currently own or manage more than 50% of the businesses in the US, and we are responsible for 70% or so of the purchasing decisions for our families. We also graduate from college in larger numbers than ever before.

Why are we not represented in the Fortune 500 in similar percentages? Why are we not sitting on boards in these numbers? Why are we making less money than men for the same job?

In our experience, women’s initiatives have been a common issue among our clients for years, and yet they haven’t finished making their impact.

We can help with these initiatives in your organization, and we are contributing to a blog for women at www.intheladiesroom.net for the purpose of collaboration among women in the creation of an improved culture in business for women.

We know how important it is for a woman to find mentoring in her career. Teagarden Group is working in collaboration with Carole Hyatt, America’s leading coach for women, to offer workshops for women called “Getting to Next”. Not only do these workshops provide a mentoring platform for the participants, but they also result in a network of professional women that is already thousands strong.
